PART 8 AUXILIARY CONSTITUTIONS RECORD KEEPERS

RECORDKEEPERS

All record keepers, museum archivists, curators, and custodians are to be under the full supervision and approval of their chapter.

THE REPOSITORY OF ARTIFACTS, RECORDS REGALIA

ARCHIVISTS,

As funds, resources and support staff are available, museums are to be created within each of the chapters.  These museums are to serve as repositories of the history of that particular chapter as an Uwetiyi -- place for old things.

Items, such as regalia, that is on loan is to be returned to these repositories as described in the HANDBOOK.

Should a Museum or repository need to close or be unable to continue to function, its contents are to be sent to the next level of governent above their level for safekeeping.

HISTORICAL SITES AND PLACES MAY ALSO BE UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THIS DEPARTMENT FOR THEIR UPKEEP.

AMENDMENTS

This constitution may be amended by a 4/5 vote of all members present and voting at the National RECORD KEEPERS Convention with the approval of the National Council and committee.
All resolutions concerning such amendments must be in the hands of the National Constitutional Cherokee RECORD KEEPERS SOCIETY Secretary 30 days prior to the opening of the National Constitutional Cherokee RECORD KEEPERS Convention held every 7 years in conjunction with the National Assembly. The officers of the community organization of the National Assembly of the Constitutional Cherokee RECORD KEEPERS Society shall reflect some of the same officers as the actual voting community.
Scheduling of the Convention of the Constitutional Cherokee RECORD KEEPRS Society should be timed so that the members may also attend the full meetings of the National Assembly of the Constitutional Cherokee.

Resolutions for Amendment of the Constitution of the Constitutional Cherokee record keepers Society may be submitted to the National Constitutional Cherokee RECORD KEEPERS Society Secretary or the National Chief of the Constitutional Cherokee RECORD KEEPERS Society by the state Constitutional Cherokee RECORD KEEPERS Society Convention of any regular state chapter of the Constitutional Cherokee RECORD KEEPERS Society or their elected Resolutions Council/committee,
and the National Constitutional Cherokee Youth Society Council. The national Constitutional Cherokee RECORD KEEPERS Society convention may receive resolutions when sponsored by at least seven delegates, considered by the Resolutions committee (that was established by the National Assembly),
and presented to the convention in proper resolution form within the 30 day time limit.
